Just when we thought the world couldn’t get more environmentally friendly, it did. Earth friendly shoes. And not just any shoes, baby shoes. Isabubu does make regular shoes, but now even your baby can reduce its carbon footprint. Isabubu partnered with Eco-Alberta a few years ago to create a great eco-friendly agency that sells to all of the USA and Canada.
Isabubu’s baby shoes, Isabooties, and not just environmentally friendly, they are cute and fun, too! With bright colors and ribbon designs your baby will have the craziest and most stylish shoes on the block. Plus, they will have the smallest carbon footprint, no matter how big their feet are. The soles of the shoes are soft and comfortable on your baby’s foot. But, despite being soft and flexible on your baby’s foot, the soles are tough and durable, made from Toughtek. Toughtek is a grip fabric that is often used in high end climbing gear, and search and rescue dog booties. This means it’ll be much safer for your baby as they are crawling around, less chances that they may slip and get hurt.
The body of the shoe is made of ultra-suede, once again a soft but durable fabric that will be comfortable on your child’s foot, while still giving it support. These shoes are great for soft soled baby shoes because they are flexible and supple, but also durable and will last until they outgrow them. Plus there is almost no chance of your baby slipping while it attempts to take its first steps in these shoes.
Isabooties are approved by Green America. All of the products are safe for the environment and 100% animal free. They are also formaldehyde free. They are made in the USA with fair labor. All of the fabrics easily bypass the Standard Consumer Safety Specifications for Toy Safety, which means that not only is it safe for our environment, they are safe for your daughter or son. Even the packaging they come in is both recycled and recyclable, and use soy ink. Isabooties are also completely machine washable and dryable so you can simply throw them in with a load of laundry when they need to be washed.
Isabubu Designs are based out of Colorado. They try to be as eco-friendly as they can be at all times. Unfortunately, Isabubu Designs are becoming harder and harder to find, but when their product is available to you, you want to stock up on it.
